I Can Still Dance

Personality: Ahiru is a very energenic and friendly girl. She's often very naive, but for that she makes up with her determination. If she has her mind set on something she'll go through with it to the very end. She's very loyal to all her friends and tries to make friends with anyone she can. She's very clumsy and often gets in the way, but when it comes down to it she will help and support her friends in any way she can.
Likes: dancing, animals, music, kind hearted people
Dislikes: Giving up, cruel people, cold food A Tale For You Ahiru is a duck. She has always been a duck until the day she saw the sad prince, Mytho, dancing. She fell in love with Mytho and wished to become a human girl to help bring a smile to his face. She was offered such an opportunity by Drosselmeyer, a writing who was supposed to be dead. He gave Ahiru a pendant that allowed her to become a human girl. In return she would become Princess Tutu and collect Mytho's lost heart shards so that he would have a story to watch. She gladl agreed, wanted to give Mytho his heart back so he could smile. She became a girl and a student at Kinkan Town's ballet class. She became friends with her dormmates Pique and Lilie right away and tried her hardest to gain the friendship of the classes Prima Donna, Rue. She rarely could spend time with Mytho since Fakir, who she instantly didn't like, was always keeping him away. Despite Fakir's warning to Princess Tutu not to return Mytho's heart shards she continued.

However, as Fakir had warned Ahiru did not understand the whole story that she now had a role in. Because Ahiru was returning Mytho's heart many lives were being brought back into the now moving story. Ahiru discovered that her role as Princess Tutu was a tragic one and that she could never speak her feelings of love to Mytho or she would dissappear. She also found that Fakir was the reincarnation of the Prince's Knight who had died and battle and that Rue was in fact Kraehe, the daughter of the evil Raven Mytho was destined to fight. With every heart shard that Ahiru returned to Mytho, the Raven that had been sealed away was awakening.

When Mytho was taken by Kraehe, Ahiru was forced to work with Fakir who she was already beginning to wonder was really as bad as he seemed. Fakir fought his best to save Mytho but fell in battle, leaving the rest to Ahiru. She was able to dance with all the feelings of love she could not speak and brought Mytho back with her. They found Fakir alive, and Mytho asked Princess Tutu for the dance she had been hoping for.

However the Raven and Kraehe were not done, nor was Drosselmeyer. Kraehe had soaked one of Mytho's heart shards in Raven blood before Princess Tutu returned it to him. The blood soaked shard slowly began to take over Mytho causing him to prey on the people of Kinkan town for a heart to give the Raven, which would restore him. Ahiru continued to return the shards, hoping this would return Mytho to normal, but finally he turned into a Raven himself. Rue, in her love for Mytho sacrificed herself to the Raven and Mytho was returned to normal. Finally Ahiru returned all of the shards to Mytho besides the final one which was in fact the pendant that allowed her to remain Princess Tutu and a human girl. She wanted to give the shard back but she was unable to take the pendant off.

After talking with Fakir whom she had grown closer and closer with as the worked together to help Mytho, she realzied deep down she had not wanted to give up being a girl, but she was assured by Fakir that it was who she truely was and no matter what, he would stay with her after she returned to being a duck. Trusting in Fakir's word and remebering her real reason for becoming a girl in the first place she was able to give the pendant back to Mytho. Through all of their efforts the Raven was defeated and Drosselmeyer's story was stopped. While Mytho and Rue went back to Mytho's story, Ahiru remained a duck and true to his word, Fakir stayed with her.

For a year now Ahiru has lived with Fakir as a duck while he continues to write. She was content with this life until one day during her morning swim Ahiru came across Mokona who brought her to Moksa University, once again as a human girl. Who knows what kind of story this will lead to...

Dance With Me Fakir -Fakir is the closest person to Ahiru. While she loves Mytho, as she grew closer to Fakir she began to wonder what her feelings for him are. She's rather confused on the subject, so she tends to not think about it. However she is very proud of him and thinks that even though he often acts mean and tough and calls her stupid that he's a very kind person that she knows she can rely on
